FEDERAL Staff, Get Up Close And Personal With Robby Mounfield's FEDERAL SIL80
On Thursday24th March, the Federal Tires Drift Team had the oppertunity to have staff from Federal Taiwan to see the car in action, and get a ride with driver Robby Mounfield. This would be the first outing at Archerfield Drift Track, for the SIL80 and Robby since October last year, so not only a good chance to showcase its performance, but get some seat time back into the car after its extensive make over.
Robby tells us from the word go the car was faultless, with its new Nisstune ECU from ECcustoms the car has alot more midrange and made light work of Smoking' a few sets of FEDERAL SS595's. And was well excited to have the oppertunity to take FEDERAL's Staff out in the SIL80.
We would like to thank Archerfield Drift Track / Nizz Pro for the use of the track. and John 'Hoons' Kennedy for his Photography.

Neta Tyres Delivering Traction to Grassroots Motosport
Neta, in partnership with Federal, is a sponsor of the Excel series – every car in the series carries the famous Federal logo across its windscreen - and the company is also a sponsor of the MTAQ Racing Team. Like Federal, Neta too has a long history of involvement in motorsport, having sponsored and supplied tyres to off-road and drifting competitions, amongst others, while also providing support to more niche areas as well – it supplies Maxtrek brand tyres to well-known stunt driver Matt Mingay and drifting exhibition driver Danny Kenneally, and Federal tyres to the Warner Brothers Movie World Hollywood Driver Stunt Team, a major tourist attraction on the Gold Coast.
